I’ve started a fiction blog called “Bonneville Bones”. In it, we explore the lives of the citizens of the fictional Lawrence County, including its many mysteries and unknown magic. You can find it at https://bonnevillebones.wordpress.com

About Me

Wife, mom of 2 tweens, Scouter, writer, gamer, artist… there aren’t many labels left that don’t apply to me. Writing is what I do to entertain myself when I’m not giving myself to everyone else. That, and wandering the woods.

As a child, I loved reading but more than anything I wanted to make my own stories. I loved making little books and plays, and playing out my stories with dolls. Now I want to share my stories with the world.

Right now my favorite author is Charles De Lint. He weaves tales of urban fantasy that feel as natural as day-to-day life. If you haven’t heard of him, you should definitely check out his work. I recommend starting with Tapping the Dream Tree. It’s a wonderful collection of short stories from the Newford series.

My hope is to write urban fantasy with the same level of realism as De Lint, while also putting my own spin on it. I was raised in Alabama, and any good southern girl knows that the best families have the darkest secrets.
